For this project, I designed and installed a custom large-scale sign for our gym using laser cut wood. After originally creating the logo as part of the gym’s brand identity, I translated the design into dimensional signage that would bring the brand into the physical space.
The sign was laser cut using a Glowforge laser cutter, with each element carefully cut from wood, stained by hand, and assembled to create depth and contrast. I then installed the final piece on-site, ensuring the scale and placement complemented the gym environment and murals.
This project combined brand design, digital fabrication, and hands-on craftsmanship to create a permanent visual anchor for the space, and a space for community members to take photos.
